What is Helpicon and how does it work?
Helpicon is an online community that connects people (Clients) looking for household services with individuals (Helpers) offering services such as babysitting, crafts, gardening, and more. Clients can post tasks with a price, and Helpers can submit offers to perform those tasks. Both parties are rated by each other based on their interactions, and these ratings help other people make decisions on Helpicon
How do I sign up as a member on Helpicon?
To register, click the ‘Sign Up’ button on the home page or ‘Continue with’ Facebook, Apple or Google. Follow the instructions to create an account using your email address or social media credentials.
How can I submit a proposal as a Helper?
As a Helper, you can submit offers by browsing through available assignments, selecting one you can and want to perform, and clicking ‘Submit Offer’. Describe your skills and why you are suitable for the assignment.
How are payments processed on Helpicon?
Payments are handled securely through the platform. Clients pay for the assignment when they accept an offer. Helpicon holds the payment until the assignment is completed and then transfers the money to the Helper, minus the platform fee.
How are ratings and reviews collected and displayed on the platform?
After a task is completed, both Clients and Helpers can rate and review each other. These ratings and reviews are visible on their profiles and task listings, providing transparency for other users.
Is there a fee for posting tasks or submitting proposals?
No, there is no fee to post jobs or submit offers on Helpicon. You are free to post your jobs as a Client and submit offers as a Helper at no cost. Our only fee is on transactions, ensuring you can explore options and connect with Helpers without hassle.
How does Helpicon ensure the safety and security of its users?
Your safety is our top priority. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal and financial information. We recommend that you review a Helper’s profile, customer ratings, and reviews before making a decision. If you ever feel uncomfortable during an assignment, you can end the assignment immediately and contact our support team.
What happens in case of a dispute between a Helpee and a Helper?
In the event of a dispute, we have a dispute resolution process in place. Both parties have the opportunity to present their case and provide relevant documentation or communications. Our dedicated support team will carefully review the information and work towards a fair resolution that benefits all parties involved. We are here to support you throughout the process and ensure a positive experience at Helpicon.
I'm under 18, can I still work as a Helper on Helpicon?
Yes! If you are 13 years or older, you are welcome to work as a Helper with us, provided you have parental consent. Your guardian needs to provide their approval through a secure and simple process on our platform.
